Smexy New Details Released for Team Meat’s Next Game, The Binding of Isaac

If you’re a fan of Super Meat Boy (like myself) and have been waiting to see Team Meat’s next game (also like myself), you can rest easy knowing that developer Edmund McMillen’s released details of their new game on his blog. Titled The Binding of Isaac, the game is a “roguelike shooter based on the dungeon structure of Zelda (nes).”

There looks to be no leveling system; instead, most changes will be determined by an item equipping system, with different special items (70 of which are currently in the game right now) affecting different abilities/stats.

Best of all, The Binding of Isaac is set to come out on Steam in August, which is just a couple short weeks away. You can read up on the additional information here, along with finding a couple screenshots, but I don’t need to see or read any more to know that I want this game inside me.
