Today Level-5 announced with a press release that its 3DS game The Snack World: TreJarers will get a Nintendo Switch release.

The game was released last summer in Japan for 3DS, and recently got a mobile port. It's the first title of the Snack World franchise initially revealed by the developer back in 2015.

At the moment, there is no information or details on when the game will be released, and whether it'll  be a direct port or will include additional features or remade graphics. The announcement mentions that further details will be revealed at a later time.

What we do know, is that the title will be showcased at Level-5's booth at the Next Generation World Hobby Fair '18 Winter, that will be held in Japan on January 21st, alongside  Yo-Kai Watch Busters 2.

It'll be interesting to see if we'll get a trailer for the game on the 21st or earlier, possibly showing how similar or different the game will look to the 3DS version. Unfortunately, for the moment no footage or images were provided, so we have to wait.
