We have entered the release month of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, so Rebellion is showcasing the various upgrades people can expect. Today, that came in the form of a trailer aptly titled "7 Reasons to Upgrade."

The first feature highlighted is simply the "incredible remastered visuals". Characters, vehicles, weapons, and environments have all been improved thanks to things like "modernized rendering and post-processing effects, enhanced texturing and level geometry, a revamped lighting system," and multiple small technical enhancements. This leads into other features: the 60fps performance mode and 4K and HDR support. While these features are only available on some platforms, it definitely looks like it makes Sniper Elite V2 run a lot smoother.

Next up are the photo mode, which can be adjusted frame by frame. 8 new characters have also been added into the game from Zombie Army Trilogy. This embellishes the multiplayer modes, another feature highlighted in this trailer. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered contains seven different modes, including Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, which now support up to 16 players on every platform but Nintendo Switch.

The final "reason to upgrade" covered in the trailer is the fact that all previously released mission and weapon DLC is included in Sniper Elite V2 Remastered. I've played the first couple levels in the Nintendo Switch version of the game and while that version lacks some of these enhancements, everything runs smoothly and I'm enjoying the enhanced experience so far.
