on February 3, 2017 9:52 AM

Starting today, and lasting until February 5, 2017 the Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 beta is available worldwide, if you’re on PC. The game is also set to come to PS4 and Xbox One, but for the beta, the developer CI Games has decided to stick to only PC. If you’re on PC and haven’t already signed up, you still have time (until the end of the day), just head here.

Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games added the following about the beta — which includes two single player missions, Blockout and Cut Off:

“We’d like to give everyone who registered for the beta a big THANK YOU. You have to throw away everything you know about the series, since Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a redefinition of the franchise developed from scratch and with a much-higher budget. This beta includes two single-player missions from the beginning of the game, and is just a glimpse of what you’ll experience in the full open-world game. Every bit of feedback you give is invaluable to us, and we’ll listen closely to all comments. We’re committed to making Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 one of the best games you’ll play this year, and will do everything we can to meet your expectations. It’s a real treat to know the game will soon be played by so many of our fans.”

First time hearing about Sniper Ghost Warrior 3? No problem, here’s an overview of the game, courtesy of CI Games:

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 tells the story of brotherhood, faith and betrayal in the most complete sniper experience ever. Take the role of an American sniper named Jonathan North, who is dropped into enemy territory in northern Georgia, nearby Russian borders. Explore large open-world maps with dynamic weather and a day and night cycle that actually impacts play and decisions. Customize weapon equipment, accessories, vehicles and a drone, and utilize the three pillars of gameplay to your liking: Sniper, Ghost and Warrior.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is set to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 4, 2017 at the price point of $49.99 USD. Below, you can check out the newly released trailer that highlights the experience to be had via the open beta.
