SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy Gets Release Date and Reveals Shermie as New Playable Waifu

Shermie is back in SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy, and she's bringing along a release date for the west, which will be on September 7th.

During a panel hosted at PAX East, SNK and NIS America announced the release date of SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy.

The game will launch on September 7th, 2018 for PS4 and Switch.

On top of the release date, we get another welcome reveal, that you probably already guessed by watching the picture above. Shermie will join the cast of heroines.

Shermie is known for being one of the two SNK heroines (the other one being Angel) with the largest chest, so her presence in this game was pretty much obligatory. Yet, she hasn’t been around mainline fighting games by the company pretty much for a decade.

Her debut dates all the way back to The King of Fighters ’97, and we’re finally going to be able to enjoy her undeniable attributes once again twenty years later. Looks like she aged quite well.

You can check her out in action in the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy ten minutes of gameplay, and an earlier trailer showcasing more characters and costumes.

The Switch version of the game can already be pre-ordered on Amazon.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
