SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy seems to pride itself on its entirely female cast, alongside turning some of the studios' most iconic male characters into female fighters. The latest addition to the roster comes in the form of MissX from SNK Gals' Fighters, a title that originally released on the Neo Geo Pocket Color 18 years ago. You can check out the new trailer for the DLC down below.

Spoiler alert, MissX is actually just King of Fighters' Iori Yagami in a cute dress and ninja mask. The character is a complete 180 compared to Yagami's personality in The King of Fighters games. The twist with the SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy version of the character, is that you can play as both the male and new female version of MissX. It's super awesome to see SNK reaching far back into their iconic history of fighting games, and putting something as awesome as this into Tag Team Frenzy. MissX will be available to download on November 15.

MissX isn't the only character who has been turned female for the sake of this game, Skullomania from Arika's Street Fighter EX and 2018's Fighting EX Layer also became a lady. Furthermore, Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard was given the same treatment. In other SNK fighting game news, the studio revealed their long-awaited follow up to the Samurai Shodown series at Tokyo Game Show.

We reviewed SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy back when it launched in September. The game is available now on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
