Sonic Forces Receives Release Date This November Along With Physical Bonus Edition

Sega has announced that their newest modern Sonic title Sonic Forces will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 7.

As of now, fans are about to pre-order the physical version of the game on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, with the digital pre-orders opening up soon.

This physical only Bonus Edition will be available for a limited time only and contain a Sonic Forces controller skin and a Sega/Atlus Pack Addon, which adds 13 in-game outfits items and accessories to recreate certain Hero Characters across the developement studios.

Sonic Forces is being developed by the same team that worked on Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations, two of the highest regarded modern Sonic titles. Sonic Forces has players play a mix of different gameplay style from Classic to Modern, which will break up the gameplay to ensure there are new elements introduced throughout the game’s campaign.

Furthermore, Sonic Forces allows players to create a Custom Hero to team up with Sonic on his adventure. One gameplay element that has been added with the custom hero in mind is the “Tag” system, where Sonic and the Custom Hero can both be controlled in battle.
