Sonic Lost World Takes on The Hero of Time in New DLC Map Based on The Legend of Zelda

While fans might have to wait for the new installments of Super Smash Bros. to see whether Link or Sonic would win in a fight, a new DLC map released for last year’s Sonic Lost World may be a nice treat to hold gamers over, in the meantime.

A new DLC map releases today for the Wii U version of Sonic Lost World, with “The Legend of Zelda Zone” set to place Sonic in a course inspired by the sights and sounds of the hugely popular Nintendo franchise. Having to collect pieces of the Triforce and other items throughout the level, Sonic even dons a Link-inspired green tunic and cap, along with references to some of the more recent Zelda titles like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

The Legend of Zelda Zone” DLC is now available to download for free on Wii U through the Nintendo Wii U eShop – check out the launch trailer for the new content below, as well:
