SEGA has released a new promotional video for Sonic Mania Plus to celebrate the game’s upcoming release on consoles in the most ’90s-inspired way possible through an infomercial. From its VHS-styled looks to its giant CRT-TVs showing the game off, it’s a perfect compliment to the very nostalgic Sonic Mania.

Alongside the original game released last year, Sonic Mania Plus also brings over plenty of new content for fans of the game to enjoy, including two new playable characters — Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo — and other features, such as a new Encore Mode with new layouts for each map. Sonic Mania Plus will also incorporate support for up to four players in its Competition and Time Attack modes for some high-speed co-op gameplay.

Sonic Mania Plus will release for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 17th, 2018, and PC players can purchase an upgrade DLC with the new content – for a closer look at the upcoming enhanced release, you can check out the full infomercial video below, and also check out our review.
