Sonic Mania is a game made by hardcore Sonic fans, for the hardcore fans. It is a 2D platformer with retro style graphics, reminiscent of the Sega Genesis era. You’ll be able to plays as Tails, Knuckles, and of course, Sonic.

The game will feature a cooperative mode, as well as a competition mode, bonus stages, and a time attack mode. Also a beautiful new opening sequence for the game was just unveiled. Sega also said that “tons” of new Sonic Forces details will be revealed following the release of Sonic Mania.

The latest adventure of the blue blur will be available this Tuesday, on August 15 for Xbox One, PS4, and Switch. The game was just delayed by two weeks on PC, but Sega will be giving PC players a free copy of Sonic The Hedgehog for pre-ordering Sonic Mania.
