Sega released a new trailer for Sonic Runners, the iOS and Android title styled after Sonic games of yesteryear. The game will release Spring 2015 in Japan; a Western release date has not been announced as of yet.

While the gameplay in the video only features the blue blur himself, we do see both Tails and Knuckles posing with him, which means the two will most likely be playable. You can watch the trailer posted below.

We also find out that those who sign up for pre-registration in Japan will receive a special “Gold Pig” item.

According to a preview by Japanese publication Famitsu, the game can be played with one hand. Sonic automatically runs so players simply tap the screen to make him jump. Each level is designed to be played in two minutes or less.
