We all know the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog film will be a masterpiece. With its all-star cast and eloquent redesign of the iconic Sega character, it's impossible to see anything but an exceptional and entertaining experience. So, when colleagues of mine pointed out that Sonic's good name was tainted at the Golden Globes, I was appalled by what was said.As provided by Twitter user @RicFromSSS, we see this year's Golden Globe hosts, Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh ask Dr. Robotnik himself, Jim Carrey, to change seats as he was sitting in a section that housed actors that starred in movies. Carrey then rebuts, "I just finished a film. It's called Sonic the Hedgehog. It comes out in November." Samberg then has the gall to disgrace 2019's best film by jokingly stating, "come back next year, I'm sure it will be nominated."

I, for one, am certain Sonic the Hedgehog will be at next year's Golden Globes and Carrey will take his rightful place in the movie section. Just from the brief teases we've seen thus far, I can see it going all the way to the Oscars.

The first look of Sonic the Hedgehog was revealed last month. While some may think his "weird eyes" and "awfully pointy nose" are "nightmare fuel," I believe the silhouette is pretty much perfect. Especially those legs. You get a really good look at them in that other poster where he's sitting on the Golden Gate Bridge. I mean seriously, look at those legs!
