Sony Bend’s Unannounced PS4 Exclusive Is Not a First Person Shooter or Syphon Filter – Insider

on June 7, 2014 3:06 PM

We have known that Sony Bend has been working on a PS4 exclusive game, and quite a few rumors have been spread about its nature. Industry insider Shinobi602 who is well known for having solid source within the industry, was quite clear in stating what it isn’t.

Not sure why people are assuming this is Bend’s game. It’s not first person.

That’s a big leap to make with no reference. Bend’s game isn’t first person. And it doesn’t support VR.

He also mentioned that the title isn’t the rumored Syphon Filter sequel/reboot.

Sorry, not Syphon Filter either.

Shinobi was referring to a batch of screenshots and pieces of concept artwork that has been posted today by a couple media outlets, and alleged to come from Sony Bend’s new game, despite the fact that their original source did not in any way indicate where they came from. The pictures definitely seem to portray a first person shooter, and include a Morpheus headset.

Shinobi also clearly confirmed on Twitter that those images are not related to Bend’s upcoming game.
