Sony Celebrates PlayStation’s 20th Anniversary With Virtual “20 Years of Play” Museum

The celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the launch of PlayStation in North America is in full swing, and Sony Computer Entertainment created a virtual exhibition showing off the ten launch games that were made available with the original console.

The first game feartured is NBA Jam Tournament Edition, which was actually published for almost every console in existence. I guess back then the “first on PlayStation” spiel wasn’t exactly considered as important as it is now.

Following, we get Raiden Project and Total Eclipse Turbo.

Next up is Rayman, by Ludimédia, that then became Ubisoft Montpellier.

Following, Sony celebrated Battle Arena Toshinden.

Presumably, the other games will be featured through the rest of the week, as hinted by the first tweet.

Incidentally, you can’t have a birthday without cake, and Sony had cake, as you can see below.

Can we have a slice Sony? Pretty please?
