Sony DADC Files Weird Trademark “Fluster Cluck” Under Game Software

on May 24, 2014 5:21 AM

Sony DADC just filed for the hilarious trademark “Fluster Cluck” with the US Patent and Trademark Office on May 20th.

The trademark is filed under class 9 for “Game Software,” but Sony DADC (Digital Audio Disc Corporation) is primarily Sony’s disc manufacturing arm just as it says on the tin. Despite the “audio” in the name it also produces the Blu Ray discs for PS4 and PS3.

The name of the trademark is quite strange, considering its meanings, but it isn’t the first time Sony DADC works on games, as they already released social games like Forsaken Planet and smartphone apps like Sorcerer’s Odyssey for iOS. The weird name “Fluster Cluck” could somehow fit the bill for those.

Sony DADC is also involved with digital license management solutions for games, but at the moment your guess is as good as mine.
