Sony Ending Support for Ustream on PS4 in August

Since its debut in 2013, the PS4 has offered users the option to stream their gameplay through several services such as Twitch, YouTube, and Dailymotion, though one of the console’s first options, Ustream, will be ending support to both view and stream gameplay later this summer.

Sony announced through its Support page that Ustream accessibility will be ending for PS4 consoles on August 1st, 2016, with the ability to both stream and view gameplay from the “Live from PlayStation” app on PS4 and PS Vita to be terminated at that time.

No specific reason for the termination was provided by Sony, though the company explained that service will continue for livestreaming through Twitch, YouTube, and Dailymotion on PS4.
