Sony Extends PSN Welcome Back Offer by a Day

on July 4, 2011 12:00 PM

Looks like a lot of people live under a rock, judging at the amount of moaning coming with the closure of the PSN Welcome Back offer, by those that somehow managed to miss it.

In order to try and make everyone happy, Sony just announced that the offer will be extended by a day and will finally close on July the 5th at 9 AM PST (5 PM BST). There you have it. If you call home the space under that rustic looking rock and you thought you missed the free games and perks, don’t be sad! You now have until tomorrow to get them. Better hurry.

In partly related news, full reopening of the PSN in Japan (including the missing Playstation Store and Qriocity) has finally been scheduled for July the 6th, bringing the PSN back to speed globally after the despicable hacker attack that forced it’s closure.
