Sony Makes Up for PSN Outage By Granting One-Day PlayStation Plus Extension

Recently the PSN suffered a rather relevant outage that lasted for several hours. In order to make up for the problem, Sony Computer Entertainment is sending codes granting one day of PlayStation Plus subscribers.

As you can see below, the code needs to be redeemed before March 31st, in order to take advantage of this make-up offer.

Presumably, Sony will be sending the same kind of extension to subscribers of other services, like PlayStation Vue and PlayStation Now, but for now, you may want to check your mailbox.

It’s also relevant to mention that for the moment I received the extension only on my North American account, but not on my European account. European users might have to wait a bit longer.

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
