Sony Hunting Down PS3 Hackers

Sony isn’t very pleased about the PlayStation 3 being hacked, and it looks like they’re actually planning on doing something about it. I can’t confirm that they’re hiring enforcers and buying a lot of baseball bats, but they have asked sites like PayPal, YouTube, Slashdot, and Twitter to pony up any info on a number of aliases of those involved; specifically names, addresses and IP addresses.

Sony is already deep into a legal battle with hacker George Hotz, the first person who shared the jailbreak across the internet tubes. Hotz currently has a restraining order against him, though that is being fought by his Lawyer (which is kind of his job).

John is what you might call something of a badass. When he's not writing about games or playing them, he's playing in the Kansas City band "Documentary" and drinking as many different beers as often as he can. He's a huge comic nerd in the best sense of the term, with a particular love for the Creator Owned movement.
