Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia announced today with a press release that its local Japan Studio opened its official channel on Nico Nico.

The new channel, simply named SCE Japan Studio Nico Nico Official Channel, will be available here, and promises to have developers and Sony reps introducing new and old games from the studio and from other prominent Sony developers.

The first broadcast will be today at 10 PM local time, will feature Soul Sacrifice Delta, followed by a second on the 7th at 8 PM featuring the Intercept DLC of Killzone: Shadow Fall.

The plan is to begin slowly and carefully, with future broadcasts dedicated to classic games, Freedom Wars, Demon’s Souls and the making of The Last of Us Remastered, and then to ramp the pace up with time.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
