Sony Japan Studio Working on a PS4 Game According to Puppeteer’s Lead Game Planner

SCE Wordlwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida mentioned in an interview a few months ago that Sony’s Japan Studio would adopt the PS4 gradually, but apparently things are now on the move. Puppeteer Lead Game Planner Kazunobu Sato has made the jump to the next generation, as he revealed during an interview on the Japanese website 4Gamer.

Sato-san was also Lead Character Designer on Siren: Blood Curse and its sequel.

The PS4 will finally be released in Japan in 2014. Since Japanese fans didn’t have much time to touch one, I’d like to tell them that the DualShock 4 is wonderfully nice to hold! And I know, because I am myself involved in the production of a PS4 title.

We don’t know what kind of title Sato-san is working on. It would be easy to think about a new Siren title, that was hinted at by a press release from Sony Romania a while ago, but Sony itself firmly denied the accuracy of that listing. All we can learn from this is that at least one of Sony Japan Studio’s teams is now working on a PS4 title.
