Sony Computer Entertainment released some more information and screenshots of the PS Vita Exclusive action RPG Freedom Wars.

We learn that it's possible to use the Thorn attached to each criminal's left arm to temporarily incapacitate the enemy Abductors. The more criminals will take part in this action, the more it'll be effective. The Thorn can also be used to swing between buildings like our neighborhood friendly Spider-man.

It's also possible to use brute force in order to deal direct damage to the Abductors. To destroy their hard outer shell it's necessary to use cutting weapons, and once it's broken, it'll be possible to rescue the civilian held inside.

Once the civilian is rescued, though, the mission doesn't end. One of the criminals will have to carry the hostage back to the extraction point, while the others will have to protect him. The Abductors won't be completely beaten yet, and will give furious chase. Only when the civilians are safe at the extraction point the mission will end with a success.

Below you can see a few new screenshots of the game, showing what's described above. Unfortunately some are really small, but they're still better than nothing.
