Sony Computer Entertainment is sending an online survey to customers through the consumer research agency 2CV in order to gather information on the perception about PlayStation Plus. Below you can see a picture of the mail.
What’s interesting is that the survey, that is very extensive and can be fully accessed here (the link seems to be unique, so your responses probably won’t be counted), pitches PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold against each other very directly. Apparently Sony really wants to know which one you like most and why, in order to improve its own service.
Often this kind of survey tends to be subtle, without naming the competitor or avoiding excessively direct comparison, but this one really doesn’t sugar coat the intent, which I guess is definitely effective for the purpose of the marketing research.
If you don’t want to bother wading through all the questions, below you can check out a gallery with a selection. There’s also a rather funny detail as an added bonus, spotted by eagle-eyed NeoGAF user Human_me. I don’t know about you, but what I really dislike about “PlayStation Gold” is that it doesn’t exist. I wouldn’t say no about the chance to pay for a single service for both platforms… Yeah. I know. Pipe dream there.
