Sony Santa Monica Leaves Old Studio; Shares Fond Memories
The good folks at Sony Santa Monica left the old Penn Station studio in the city that has become part of their name today, ready for the move to the new studio in the nearby Playa Vista.
Of course it’s impossible to leave a place where one worked for fifteen years without doing some healthy reminiscing, and the prominent Sony first party team has been sharing little gems for us to enjoy via social media.

The new studio, located in the southwest corner of The Reserve, a large business facility in Playa Vista, is bigger and includes a state-of-the-art recording studio. It’s also close to a new motion capture studio which will also be used by Naughty Dog.
With activity resuming in short order at the new location, will Sony Santa Monica be ready to finally announce its new PS4 masterpiece soon?
Below you can see a video with a 3D rendering of The Reserve.
