Sony Santa Monica Opens Brand New Website; Shows Life at the Studio on Video and Amazing Art

Sony opened a brand new website for its critically acclaimed Sony Santa Monica studio, that is known (or at least strongly rumored) to be currently working on one or more PS4 games.

The site can be found here, and it’s chock full of really interesting content for both professionals and fans. For instance you can find technical articles showcasing the studio’s professional talents, like a great one titled “Artistic Anatomy for Digital Artists“. It showcases some amazing 3D and 2D artwork from God of War: Ascension that you can see in the gallery at the bottom of the post. If you’re a budding artist and want to work on video games, you should really give it a  good read.

There’s also a “Live” area designed to feature livestreams directly from the studio and a rich career opportunities section for professionals that think they have what it takes to work in one of the best studios in the industry.

Last but not least, the site includes a “Games” page where you can find information, videos and screenshots about the rich portfolio of titles created by Sony Santa Monica.

The Sony also released a clip showcasing the life at the studio and including comments and banter from some of its employees. You can check it out below.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
