Sony Shows How Kratos Was Brought to Life

Gamers interested in seeing how live action commercials come together for video games will be excited to know Sony has released two videos showing how they brought Kratos and the massive army to life for the Super Bowl commercial.

The first video shows how they were able to transform their actor, Brandon White, to look like everyone’s favorite Kratos. Well, favorite if you are not a Greek god. The team worked together to ensure that makeup, tattoo, armor, and costume all looked right in bringing Kratos to live action.

Not only did they have to bring Kratos to life, but they also had to create a massive army using only ten men. The second video takes a look behind the scenes showing how they were able to transform a few into many and the attention to detail in making their armor look realistic.

These videos give a great look behind the scenes of this commercial and shows the hard work and care that is used when treating theĀ God of War franchise.
