During Sony Corporation's Quarterly Financial Conference Call, Chief Financial Officer Kenichiro Yoshida talked about the performance of the PlayStation business.

Yoshida-san mentioned that PlayStation Network revenue increased 40% year-on-year, and continue to have strong momentum. On top of that, PlayStation VR is selling "in line with expectations."

He also explained why the operating income forecast for the full fiscal year remains unchanged, mentioning that the negative impact of foreign exchange is expected to be offset by the strong momentum of the business.

Yoshida-san also commented on the upcoming release of mobile games from the subsidiary Forwardworks. The first games will come in the spring and won't just leverage existing IP, but there will also be new ones.
