The Last of Us Remastered is less than a month away from its release, but Sony may have plans to expand the franchise in several directions, some a little less orthodox than others. On June 30th the house of PlayStation filed two new trademarks for "The Last of Us" in order to expand its classes. The original trademark, which is still valid, was only for class 9 (games and downloadable games).

The new trademarks, which you can see at the bottom of the post, expand the mark to class 41 for "providing an on-line computer game," which may indicate a possible plan to create some sort of online spin-off, but they also cover some absolutely hilarious options like baby bodysuits, briefs, pajamas, socks, plush toys, stationery and temporary tattoo transfers.

Whether Sony actually plans to produce those items remains to be seen, as it could be a defensive move to protect the mark, but honestly, who wouldn't want to dress his firstborn with a clicker bodysuit?
