Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida Doesn’t Want to Live in a World that Has Only Touch Based Games

SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida is very proud, like all of Sony, of the work done on the DualShock 4, and while he does like touch based games (after all the PS Vita relies heavily on touch), he definitely wouldn’t like a world in which every game is touch based, as he said in an interview on IGN.

What if all of your gaming experience was on iPad, would you appreciate what we’ve done with DualShock 4? You wouldn’t know the difference between DualShock 4 and DualShock 3.

I think touch based games are great. In some games it’s really fun, but we believe that if the whole world had only touch based games… I don’t want to leave in that world.

And I definitely agree with good ol’ Shu. If such a world were to become a reality in the future, you can definitely sign me up for the first space emigration ship available.
