Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida: You Can Turn the PS4 Off Remotely with the Vita Too, and Mute the DualShock 4’s Speaker

Tidbits of information about the PS4 and its features continue to trickle down thanks to SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, that keeps holding his “unofficial customer service” on Twitter by answering questions from the fans.

Yesterday we learned that you’ll be able to use the PS Vita to turn on the PS4 remotely, but can you turn it off as well? Why yes, you can.

In addition to that, if you’ll want your DualShock 4 controller to just shut up, and stop making noise with that little built-in speaker, you’ll be able to mute it.

Simple answers for simple questions, but it’s always a great thing to have someone like Yoshida-san ready and willing to provide them.
