Sony’s TGS Press Conference: Get an Insider Look With Pictures Aplenty Directly from Tokyo Midtown

Have you ever wondered what an industry press conference looks like from the inside? Maybe you’d like to see Sony’s latest briefing from Tokyo from a different point of view.¬†In order to help you scratch that itch, today I carried my favorite Nikon with me and ¬†snapped away at everything in sight, from the parading executives to the flowers sent by various companies to celebrate the event.

The conference was held at Tokyo Midtown Hall, the theater space of Tokyo Midtown, an upscale complex in Roppongi where incidentally you can also find Konami’s offices.

Attendes were provided with branded water bottles, passes and even a handy earpiece broadcasting an English interpretation of the speeches.

It was a quite enjoyable event. Sony didn’t drop many megatons, but that was to be expected, considering that the big western-centric Paris Games Week conference is just a bit more than a month away.

That said, the gaming content was compelling, and we got some very nice treats in the form of a new Gravity Rush, Bloodborne‘s expansion, and a ton of Japanese games that gamers like me will definitely enjoy.

But without further ado, I leave you with the pictures.
