Sony's The Last Guardian Still in Limbo, Skips Another PlayStation Press Conference

By Giuseppe Nelva

September 1, 2014

After much waiting, hopes were high for an announcement about Team ICO’s The Last Guardian, which has been in development since 2007, and has basically disappeared from the radar after its reveal for PS3.

Unfortunately the announcement didn’t come, and the beloved Trico didn’t even make a passing appearance, marking just another skipped PlayStation conference.

Rumors have spread indicating either the cancellation of the game or its shift to PS4, and Sony Computer Entertainment’s executives have repeated multiple times that it’s still in development. Unfortunately fans still have to wait for tangible evidence of that.

Will we see The Last Guardian before we’re all too old to hold a controller? We can only hope so.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
