After a long period spent out of the spotlight, Sorcery is approaching its release date and Sony Computer Entertainment released a new developer diary featuring the philosophy behind the story of the game.

The developers explain the way they wanted to turn Sorcery‘s story into a hero’s journey and a coming of age tale, and how they designed the characters in order to give it more depth. The Nightmare Queen, despite the cheesy name, seems to have the potential to be a realistic and believable villain, something that always enriches a good story.
