Namco has blessed us with a status update on the completion of the highly anticipated fighter Soul Calibur V. Ridiculous fans like myself will eat up every detail regarding this one, so believe that this is fantastic news. The game is currently 10% finished. OMG that is totally amazing. I realize it means we have a long wait ahead of us, but we already know that the game is coming out next year, so that only gives the developers a lengthy time limit.
I'm taking this just too well. I don't want Namco, or any self respecting developer, to rush through the development of something especially in a series this celebrated and especially to meet a certain release window for profit potential! Nerd rage over. Furthermore, Soul Calibur V will feature new and guest characters, more than - or at least the same amount of - characters as in Soul Calibur IV, and will hit HD consoles sometime in 2012. There should be more than enough good fighters to keep us held over until then.
