Soul Sacrifice is going to be released in Japan on March the 7th, and Sony is bringing it westwards less than two months after, on April the 30th, enriching (hopefully) the library of the Vita with another rather unique Japanese game.

Today Sony Computer Entertainment Japan released two TV commercials and a longer trailer of the game, showing us what it's going to look like. The trailer, in particular, is interesting as it doesn't just focus on pretty pictures and special effects (even though it has a lot of both) but shows us quite a bit of the mechanics behind combat, from the titular sacrifices to the various kinds of magic split between attack, defense and support.

It also shows the four-player co-op multiplayer and some of the customization options.

Hopefully the game will be as good as it seems to promise, but in the meanwhile you can check out the videos below.
