Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand new trailer of the upcoming fighting game SoulCalibur VI.

The video comes to celebrate the opening of the gates of EVO Japan 2018, which will see a playable demo available to the public. What is most interesting is that it introduces four characters.

Three of them are already known to SoulCalibur fans, and they’re Nightmare, Xianghua, and Kilik. One is a complete newcomer to the series. His name is Grøh, and he fight using dual blades that can combine into a longer polearm.

I don’t know about you, but he looks really badass. I can’t wait to learn more about his backstory.

You can check them all out below.  If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a trailer from December featuring Sophitia, another recent gameplay videoa few screenshots showing more of Sophitia and Mitsuruguthe first trailer, a second clip, and some gameplay straight from PlayStation Experience.

SoulCalibur VI will release in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
