Today during the PlayStation Experience opening presentation, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bandai Namco showcased a new gameplay trailer of SoulCalibur VI

The game was announced yesterday at The Game Awards, and it will come for PS4, Xbox One and PC (via Steam) in 2018. We also know who will be at the helm of the new game, and it’ll be Tekken 7 Producer Motohiro Okubo.

The trailer doesn't show that much more compared to the original announcement video, still featuring Sophitia and Mitsurugi as they duke it out, so we can basically consider it an extended version. It's still much better than nothing, but I hope to get to see more characters soon, especially Ivy.

The SoulCalibur franchise debuted on December 20, 1996 on the original PlayStation with Soul Edge. It took the Soulcalibur name only in 1999 with the second game of the franchise.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more you can check out yesterday's announcement trailer on top of some more information shared earlier today.
