Today music streaming giant SoundCloud announced that a brand new app for its service has hit the Xbox App Store.

The app contains most of the features that the web version does; you'll be able to listen to music and playlists from any artist you choose, and you can create your own playlists. Songs can, of course, be played while in-game as well, and you can even use Cortana, Microsoft's built-in voice control, to skip tracks and play certain songs.

It also includes SoundCloud's latest feature called The Upload, which is a service that finds songs that's similar to your tastes and styles of music every day. The Upload was originally released as a part of the web version a month ago, on May 3rd, 2017, and is available for everyone, regardless of what subscription tier you have.

You can check out a new trailer at the end of this article.

The app is available to download on Xbox One only, and is of course completely free.

The company confirmed that it will be available for everyone to use, regardless of whether they have SoundCloud Free, SoundCloud Go, or SoundCloud Go+, with the latter two options being SoundCloud's premium services.
