In what's becoming quite an impressive and long line of updates, the developers behind Space Engineers are adding even features, which can all be viewed in the trailer below.

This time around players are being given the power to create custom colors for blocks, change the range settings of the gravity generator, include a second entrance on small spaceships, rename most of the objects available in the Control Panel (which includes the Gyroscope, refinery, and more), and there's even a construction deck (or magnetic deck) on the platform when players start a new game/world.

(Is it just me, or do the Custom Colors and Gravity Generator segments remind you of Disgaea's Geo-Panels? I know, right?)

For newcomers to the game, Space Engineers offers players freedom in designing space stations and spaceships as they wish, with both a range of development tools and a robust physics engine to experiment with, and encouragement to test, fly and crash everything they build.

Space Engineers is available on Steam Early Access for $14.99, which comes with some good perks for early adopters. For more trailers and details, check out more of DualShockers’ Space Engineers news.
