Surviving Mars Expansion Space Race Will Be Releasing Later This Year

The first Surviving Mars expansion, Space Race, will be coming later this year and introduce new challenges, sponsors, and more to your Mars colony.

Space Race, a Surviving Mars expansion, will be releasing later this year for PC at $11.69 USD.

In Space Race, Earth’s greatest countries and companies will compete against one another over limited resources on Mars. Players will have to compete for milestones, resources, and anomalies against AI colonies in order to become the first superpower on Mars. Although you are in competition you can trade with, respond to and issue distress calls to, and steal colonists from other colonies.

Each colony will have a unique sponsor, complete with their own set of Challenges to complete, vehicles, and buildings that only that sponsor can provide access to. Japan and Brazil will be added as new sponsors in Space Race as well. Special narrative events will unfold during your campaign to challenge you.

This Surviving Mars expansion also includes the Marsvision Song Contest and Colony Design Set content packs. These packs introduce a new radio station and 25 new buildings into the game.

No release date has been given for Surviving Mars: Space Race, but pre-order is available via the Paradox store and will be compatible with the Linux, Mac, and Windows OS.

Whether it’s stealing key colonists or monopolizing crucial discoveries, be sure not to let your comrades in colonizing get the upper hand!
