Spain Wins the World Cup – on 2010 FIFA World Cup

Guess what, I’m a HUGE soccer fan and I’m more excited about the World Cup then I am for E3. Before you start throwing stuff at me, trust me, everyone at your school/job will be talking about the World Cup games EVERYDAY for the next month. So break out of your American shell and give it a chance.

According to a simulated game on 2010 FIFA World Cup, EA predicts that Spain will squeak by Brazil 2-1 to become the new World Cup champions, with England taking the third place trophy. I know it’s just a game, but Madden NFL has correctly predicted the outcome correctly six out of the last seven years – including last year’s surprising victory (yes, WHO DAT nation, I said surprising) by the New Orleans Saints.

I could spend the next couple of lines talking about countries and names and other stuff that you might not know about, but instead let me give you some advice. Take a few minutes to learn a little about the World Cup tournament, it will make you sound cool at bars and smart at work and cool. Plus, everyone else in the world will be watching it and Victoria Beckham will there – Bazinga! Go USA!
