The specs for Nintendo’s upcoming handheld, the 3DS has been made known thanks to Kotaku. From the looks of it, the 3DS will be more advanced than it predecessors by a good chunk, but that should be expected right?
Here’s the rundown for the handheld:
- CPU: 2 x 266MHz ARM11
- GPU: PICA200 133MHz GPU by DMP
- RAM: 64MB
- Video RAM: 4MB
- Storage: 1.5GB Flash-based
Compare this to when the DS series first hit the market, two ARM processors running at 67 MHz and 33 MHz and the original 4 MB Ram. The 3DS definitely shows how far Nintendo has come with their popular handheld.
