Today, publisher tinyBuild Games and developer DoubleDutch Games announced that their multiplayer running game is making its way to Xbox One on June 1st.

Additionally, tinyBuild Games and Microsoft announced the game will be free for Xbox Live Gold members during the month of June, and if you’re not a Gold member, it will cost $14.99 USD.

As you may know,¬†SpeedRunners¬†first arrived onto the scene in April 2016 via the PC, Mac, and Linux. According to tinyBuild it has sold over 1.5 million copies, and has noticeably garnered a “Very Positive” Steam User Review ranking across more than 10,000 reviews (aka 94% of users have reviewed it positively).

Notably, tinyBuild’s personal listing for the game on its official website¬†mentions the game coming to PS4, but there has been no official announcement of said PS4 port as of right now.

Below, you can check out a brief overview of the game as well as its latest trailer:

In a city filled with superheroes, getting to crimes becomes a competition on its own. Fortunately there are enough rockets, bombs, grappling hooks, spikes, and other goodies lying around — to make the competition fun and fast. Welcome to SpeedRunners.

SpeedRunners is a 4 player competitive platformer with grappling hooks, power-ups, and interactive environments. Run, jump, swing around, fire rockets, grapple onto people to knock them off screen.
