SpellFocre 3 was released on PC by Grimlore Games and THQ Nordic last December. Unfortunately, it launched without modding support, but the game's developers have quickly fixed that issue and released some pretty powerful modding tools for SpellForce 3 to the community today.

This modding tool is quite powerful because it gives modders the ability to create maps with all of the same tools as the game's developers, but also includes an "extensive scripting." This means modders can modify the game to their liking to possibly create whole new modes. The developers are encouraging this too, and even directly mentioned the tools' ability to create  MOBA and Horde modes.

The base game is supposed to last players 30 hours, but these modding tools hint that there is a lot more interesting stuff to come from SpellForce 3's community. The map creator and scripting editor can be downloaded directly from the game's Steam page, and even come with a tutorial and glossary so people can easily get the hang of these tools. These modding tools are available for free, though SpellForce 3 costs $49.99.
