Easily one of 2020’s best PlayStation games, Miles Morales continues to give fans an incredible experience. With the Miles Morales update today, Insomniac Games aims to do just that.

In my opinion, one of the best parts of the Insomniac Spider-man games is the ability to wear a multitude of outfits from the characters’ comic roots.

From Peter Parker’s Fantastic 4 bag-mask to Miles Morales’ Into the Spider-Verse suit, the games really cover a lot of ground.

The 1.06 Miles Morales update today adds another suit as well as some other features. Here’s everything you need to know about today’s patch.

Why Ratchet & Clank is the Most Important PS5 Game

Spider-Man: Miles Morales 1.06 Update Today

Today’s update includes a few things. The most notable addition is the new Advanced Tech suit that has Miles in a Stark-esque futuristic spider suit. The suit is a reflective black and red that keeps the looks similar to the original Miles Morales costume. The suit is free for everyone who owns a copy of Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the PS4 and PS5.

The other big addition today is exclusive to PS5 owners. Now, as Miles swings through the city, Insomniac has added “realistic muscle deformation on select suits.” This means that Miles’ muscles will realistically expand and contract based on how they would if the web head was fighting crime in real life. It’ll only be applied to suits that are skin tight and show off his muscle definition.

The 1.06 patch also fixes a handful of bugs so the game should run even smoother now on both the PS4 and PS5.
