Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 Mock-Up Is a Perfect Fit for Any Superhero
Boss Logic designs a special edition Spider-Man: Miles Morales PlayStation 5 mock-up which may swing you to actually like the console.
During Sony’s PS5: The Future of Gaming reveal event, we got to witness a taste of what Insomniac Games has in store next for the Spider-Man franchise. With incredible high resolution captured on a PS5, Miles Morales never looked so great. Although it wasn’t clear at the time, Insomniac Games later took to Twitter to make it crystal clear that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a fully standalone game and not a sequel. It’s fair to say that some people weren’t too happy with this news, but never fear – Boss Logic is here to brighten up any sad Spider-Man fan with an incredibly designed Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 mock-up.
Kode Abdo aka Boss Logic who has worked with Marvel’s star directors the Russo Brothers and even Jake Gyllenhaal has, yet again, created another PlayStation designed console but this time Logic takes on the PS5 and adds a little bit of a Spider-Man flavor to it. In Logic’s hypothetical PS5 Miles Morales Edition, we see a really clean and simple design but the impact of it is actually really stunning. For those of you who weren’t sold on the PS5’s ultra spacy and quite strange reveal last week (side note: I like it), then maybe this could be a game-changer – if it was real that is. The faded spider design on the actual console itself is subtle with minimum exposure which is in stark contrast to the over the top PS5 design. The controller looks really sweet as well with its matt black finish accompanied by a red spider logo on the Dualsense touchpad.
Of course, if Spider-Man isn’t your thing and you’d prefer a bit more color to your hypothetical PS5 then maybe an in your face bright yellow Pikachu mock-up would be your cup of tea? I honestly couldn’t think of anything worse than this but hey, whatever floats your boat right? We’ve had enough gaming discourse right now to last us a lifetime.
While you are here, you can check out some of Boss Logic’s other creative endeavors that include the likes of Michael Fassbender as Raiden, Travis Fimmel as Kano, Keanu Reeves as Kenshi, Gal Gadot as Kitana, Terry Crews as Jax and many others. Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon said in a tweet stating, “would be awesome if we could make this a real thing!” However, it is uncertain whether or not the character is actually in the game.
If you cast your mind back to the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla live stream, you would have seen Boss Logic revealing art for the upcoming Ubisoft Montreal title. The stream started with a blank slate, and over time more details were added until the full picture was unearthed leaving us in awe of Kode’s sheer amount of creative talent. If you have ever wondered what type of program Logic uses to create his work, you’ll be pleased to know that 90% of his main work is produced on Photoshop where he also uses a Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet for his digital paintings.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release for PS5 in Holiday 2020 and the PS5 is still set to launch later this year. For some PS5 console shots you may have missed, you can check those out right here.
