Insider Skyler Shuler predicted on Twitter that the trailer would arrive this week because Sony had changed its social media banners to No Way Home – now that the Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer is out in the wild.

Another insider Everything Always speculated that the trailer would release on Tuesday, thanks to sources on Twitter.

What We Can Expect From The Trailer

Marvel is known for teasing its fan base, and our first look at the feature will no doubt fuel a lot more questions. It’s a certainty that the first content reveal will rekindle our fondness for Tom Holland’s Spidey, Jacob Batalon’s Ned, and Zendaya’s MJ living high-school life, but there should also be a plot reveal for Spidey’s next mission.

No Way Home’s premise has remained tightly under wraps, but the first trailer should give us a substantial overview. We should see Spider-Man and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange join forces in the Big Apple to tackle a new threat.

The opening of the Multiverse will be at the core of No Way Home’s narrative, and the trailer should give us a taste of what that phenomenon will look like in live action.

Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx’s returning villains, Doctor Octopus and Electro, could grace the trailer as well, or at least be teased in the closing frames. Molina, Foxx, and Cumberbatch have all been confirmed as cast members, so it’s pretty much assured that they’ll all have screen time.

Will The Trailer Address The Time Jump?

Plot details may be thin, but fans believe that there will be a significant time jump at some point in No Way Home. A notable set photo was released once filming had wrapped, showing Holland, Batalon, and Zendaya sitting behind three mysterious people who looked exactly like older versions of their characters.

Since Marvel allowed this photo to be shared freely, we can expect the time jump to perhaps be one of the surprises of the trailer.

The big question on every fan’s mind is: Will Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield be in No Way Home?

There is a high chance that Maguire and Garfield will revive their roles and contribute to the Multiverse plot – despite many parties denying their involvement – but it is very unlikely that they will appear in the trailer.
