Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most anticipated releases of this year, and fans are eagerly waiting for the movie's release.

If you are an avid PlayStation fan, you must have definitely played the Spider-Man games. While there was the famous puddle debacle at the launch of the first game, it turned out to be one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time.

The Batman games have been known to be a benchmark for the superhero games genre, but with the release of Spider-Man, that was surpassed and a new standard was set for the genre. What makes the game stand out is the visual fidelity, stellar mechanics, and some a well thought out narrative on top of it. There are hardly a few games out there that ticks all the boxes, so Marvel's Spider-Man was actually quite a marvel.

While fans are still waiting for the release of a sequel to the original title (keeping aside the spinoff, Miles Morales), we have an all-new Spider-Man movie coming up as well.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Was Partly Inspired By PlayStation 5 Game: Tom Holland

The movie is still a few days away from launch, and we are already learning some bits and pieces about it, thanks to the various interviews and more. In a recent interview with the Youtuber channel Extraordinerd, Tom Holland revealed some interesting aspects about the upcoming movie.

When the interviewer asks Tom about whether the movie was inspired by the game, he goes on to say that it isn't inspired as such by the movie but immediately cuts in between and adds that there is one move that has been taken from the game directly.

Tom also added that he has played the game himself, and heaped praises on the game, and the swinging mechanics. While the movie might not be inspired by the game as a whole, it does seem like that it indeed played a small role in the making.
