Some had already guessed it, but today it's official. Behind spidey's mask in Marvel's Spider-Man there will be a veteran Peter Parker, but another man hides behind Peter's post-teenage face, and that's Yuri Lowenthal.Lowenthal is mostly known for his voice over work in video games and in the English version of several anime series. Among his most well-known characters he played are Yosuke Hanamura in Persona 4, Nikola Tesla in The Order 1886, the Prince in the Prince of Persia series, Haseo in .hack//G.U., the male hero in Persona 3 and Sunset Overdrive, Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto, Suou Ginta in Marmalade Boy (ok, this might not be that well known, but it's still one of my favorites), Suzaku Kururugi in Code Geass, Simon in Gurrenn Lagann and many more roles.Lowenthal confirmed his role on Twitter, showing a picture of himself wearing performance capture gear hiding a very familiar suit (even if the spider isn't white).

Today we also learned that the game will be released exclusively for PS4 on September 7th. We also saw some really amazing new screenshots.

If you want to shot your web at your copy of Marvel's Spider-Man early, you can currently pre-order the game on Amazon.
