Marvel's Spider-Man by Insomniac Games certainly jumped right to the top of this year's most anticipated games for many, and the developer recently took to Twitter to give more information about the game, its DLC, and pre-order bonuses.

First of all, we learn that if you don't pre-order, you actually won't miss out on the suits included in the Spidey's suit pack. If you pre-order, you'll be able to use the suits as soon as you're able to swap them in the game (which I guess indirectly confirms that you won't be able to change immediately). If you don't pre-order, you'll still be able to unlock them later during gameplay. Incidentally, the voice behind each suit will always be Yuri Lowenthal despite the fact that they might represent different characters in the Spider-Man universe.

More information also come about the series of three story missions titled "The City That Never Sleeps" coming post-launch, and included in the Collector's Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition. If you prefer not to invest that much upfront, you won't miss out on this either, as they'll be available separately as DLC. The price is unknown for the moment.

At the moment, we don't know if there will be a season pass, as Insomniac only responded "stay tuned" on that.

Speaking of pre-orders, the PS4 theme coming with digital ones on the PlayStation Store will be ready for download "later this summer."

In case you had any doubt (you never know nowadays), the game will be playable offline, and asked whether they're going to be silent about the game until release, Insomniac Games responded "I mean E3 is a thing" pretty much confirming that we'll see more in June.

If you want to know more, you can read about the lack of microtransactions, the craftable suits and photo mode, and check out a batch of lovely screenshots released today.

Marvel’s Spider-man releases on September 7th, exclusively for PS4. You can also currently pre-order the game on Amazon.
